If this sounds like you, then you could be our next Senior Sustainability Consultant!

Due to continued growth, we are on the search for a Senior Sustainability Consultant who is ready to take the charge on a broad range of sustainable design projects, ranging from Life Cycle Analyses and green building certifications, through to leading edge Living Building Challenge projects.

The role will seek to enhance and educate our clients on how our projects can be a force for good, in keeping with our founding notions as supporters of the regenerative design movement. As well as advocacy and technical delivery, the role also requires the successful candidate to contribute to the overall expertise of the team ensuring that we’re supporting our clients with the latest sustainability solutions.

Join our team to lead projects that shape a sustainable and regenerative future for the built environment. This role offers the unique opportunity to also delve into the dynamic field of ESG and corporate sustainability, thanks to our broad expertise.

You'll work closely with our Director of Regenerative Design, backed by a dedicated team of Senior and Junior Consultants.

About you

  • You are a sustainability enthusiast, committed to making the world a better place for all current and future generations.

  • A tertiary education in environmentally sustainable design (ESD), sustainable building design, energy efficiency, engineering (environmental, mechanical or civil) and/or other building related courses with a sustainability focus (eg. architecture, construction, urban planning etc.)

  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to developing strong client relationships.

  • Team player, comfortable working within a small, agile, and distributed team, but are also comfortable working autonomously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • High level of computer literacy.

  • You have working rights in Australia.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Curiosity and passion for all aspects of sustainability.

  • Experience providing strategic ESD advice for multi-disciplinary and specialist ESD projects.

  • Involvement in managing client relations, such as the preparation of quotes and tender submissions.

  • Experience in building simulation such as daylight and thermal comfort analyses

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • High level of self-motivation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing industry-leading projects.

  • Mentoring our Junior Consultants and providing Quality Assurance.

  • Providing assistance with business development (for our ESD services) through managing inbound enquiries and proposals.

Work location

We highly value flexibility and hybrid working. We collaborate together one day per week in our Albert Park office – the remaining time you are welcome to work from home or at a location of your choice.
